What it is like

Playa Cala Sahona is the only beach considered as such on the western coast of Formentera, a distinctive feature added to its cove shape. Its 140 metres of white and golden sand, with a width of 120 metres, are integrated into a semi-urban frontage of dunes, vegetation and protected space classified as ANEI and a natural park. The waters are calm and there is an anchorage area. It can be reached on foot, by car or by boat, with fewer than 50 parking spaces, as well as sun lounger, parasol and water-sports equipment hire.
