What it is like
Playa Cala de Sant Francesc, also known as Cala Bona, is surrounded by pine trees and opens as a semi-urban beach of golden, coarse-textured sand. Its 220-metre length and 35-metre width lie beside a pedestrian seafront promenade, with vegetation, an anchorage area and moderate waves. Occupancy is high. It is easily reached on foot, by car or by boat via the GI-682; parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles is chargeable in season, and there is an amphibious chair and nautical services.
