What it is like

Characteristics published by official sources

Playa Broña takes its name from Punta Broña, the coastal feature beside which it lies. Its beach combines sand and rock over 475 metres in length and 20 metres in width, with white sand, calm waters and a semi-urban frontage covered by vegetation. The surroundings are included in a Site of Community Importance (SCI) and have a seafront promenade, bringing together natural features and recent infrastructure. It is accessible by car via the C-550, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles; practical facilities include showers, a children’s area and the possibility of diving.
