What it is like
Playa de Cabalo, also known as Boa Pequena, is a semi-urban white-sand beach with calm waters, frequented by visitors to the area. Its 150-metre length and 7-metre width lie beside Puerto de Boa, with an urban frontage and vegetation within the Site of Community Importance (SCI). Use is high, although the beach retains a small scale. Access combines travel by car with a difficult stretch on foot from the C-550; there is parking for fewer than 50 vehicles, showers and a cleaning service.
