Beach at a glance
What it is like
Sheltered in a hollow, Playa Arnao combines sand and rounded stones in an urban beach of golden sand. Its 300 metres of length and 25 metres of width are framed by semi-urban surroundings with a promenade, vegetation and ZEPA and Site of Community Importance (SCI) protection. At low tide, the natural pool known as La Hollina appears, one of its most distinctive features. It is accessed on foot or by car via the AS-239; there is parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles and an area designated for surfing.
