Playa Ares is the sandy beach of the urban centre of Ares, a stretch of golden sand and calm waters extending for 950 metres with a width of 40 metres. The seafront promenade and urban frontage accompany a beach with medium occupancy, integrated into the everyday life of the town. Its practical character is reinforced by numerous access points for people with reduced mobility, toilets, showers and a play area. It is easily reached on foot and also from the AC-123, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus service.
