Playa Area da Secada is an isolated sandy beach on Illa de Arousa, located in a dune area with vegetation. Its 500 metres of length and 15 metres of width consist of fine sand, described editorially as white, and the area also has an anchorage zone. The dune frontage and the beach's sheltered character shape its identity, with moderate visitor numbers. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the CC-550 road, with an interurban bus stop 1 kilometre away. Showers, food, sun-lounger and parasol hire, and nautical services provide practical convenience.
