What it is like
Playa de As Ruvás is a tiny beach, barely 50 metres long, situated beyond Playa del Naval in the port of A Illa de Arousa Norte. Its shore of golden sand and rock is 2 metres wide and forms part of a shellfish-farming area particularly associated with that activity. Vegetation, calm waters and anchorage complete an isolated setting of low occupancy. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the CC-550, with an interurban bus and a nearby connection with Marina Vilagarcía.
