What it is like

Playa Aculadero-Puerto Sherry occupies a small urban stretch of golden sand, 167 metres long and 14 metres wide. Its identity is linked to Yacimiento del Aculadero, where prehistoric material from the Early Archaic Palaeolithic has been found and preserved as a visitable reference in the Municipal Museum. At the end of the beach is Puerto Deportivo Puerto Sherry and, beside it, Parque Periurbano Dunas de San Antón. This woodland setting derives from stone-pine plantations intended to stabilise the dune system.
