Playa A Fragata is a semi-urban beach of fine sand, 160 metres long and 50 metres wide, opening onto a dune frontage. Vegetation and the ZEPA and SCI area accompany a beach heavily frequented by tourists in the area, with a campsite and hotel facilities nearby. It shares parking and services with Vilar Grande and Esmelle beaches. It is accessed by car via the DP-3606, with parking for more than 100 vehicles and an interurban bus 300 metres away. There are toilets, showers, a promenade and cleaning services.
