What it is like
Playa de los Guíos, also called Argel, is an urban beach of dark sand known for the cliff surrounding it, with walls more than 300 metres high. The shore measures 180 metres long and 20 metres wide, offers calm water and forms part of an urban front beside Puerto Los Gigantes. Its port character is completed by the anchorage and numerous facilities, including showers, restaurants and hire of sun loungers and parasols. Access on foot is easy and adapted for people with reduced mobility.
