Playa de los Abrigos is a small urban beach measuring 50 metres in length and 50 metres in width, made up of dark sand and gravel. Its semi-urban frontage, vegetation and protection as Natural Habitats of Community Interest qualify an area of high occupancy with moderate swell. Its small scale and proximity to the urban surroundings explain its particular character within the coastline of Granadilla de Abona. It is reached by car via the TF-65, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles and an interurban connection. Litter bins and cleaning are among the available services.
