What it is like
Playa de las Salineras, also called Las Salemeras, is a rocky beach in Villa de Mazo surrounded by small buildings. Its shore combines dark sand, rock and gravel, with 200 metres of length and 15 metres of width, on a semi-urban frontage protected as a Reserva de la Biosfera. Visitor numbers are medium and the entry describes clear, transparent waters, together with moderate surf and wind. It is reached by car from the LP-2, with parking and access signage; interurban transport serves the surrounding area.
