Playa de las Salinas is a bathing area among cliffs, situated below a former saltworks in a wild section of the steep coast of Arucas. The rocky shore measures 210 metres in length and 30 metres in width, and the usual waves are strong; nevertheless, the official observation highlights natural pools where bathing is safe. Access requires walking a stretch and is listed as easy on foot, with the GC-2 and the interurban bus service as references. The listing also records naturism.
