Playa de las Melvas is a small, semi-urban gravel beach set beside a cliff and described as being in a somewhat degraded environment. Its dimensions are limited: 20 metres long by 6 metres wide; occupancy is medium and the usual waves may be moderate or strong. Access by land is difficult, although it is also possible to arrive by car or boat, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles. There is access and hazard signage, as well as lifeguard services and first aid.
