Cala Roja is an urban cove of golden sand and gravel, enclosed within a cliff-lined coast. Its 70 metres of length and 5 metres of width form a narrow strip, with waves ranging from moderate to strong and low occupancy. Access is by small steps, with difficulty, or by boat, from the road area of La Manga and Cabo de Palos. Specific facilities include litter bins, cleaning, anchorage and parking for fewer than 50 vehicles.
