What it is like
Playa de las Galgas is a small beach, 50 metres long and 20 metres wide, surrounded by tall buildings and numerous hotel facilities. Its surface combines golden and dark sand and gravel along a semi-urban waterfront, with a promenade, vegetation and natural habitats of Community interest. Visitor numbers are low and the waves moderate. Access on foot is easy, and the beach is served by the interurban bus on route 471, with facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility. Basic services include litter bins and cleaning; it also has lifeguard cover, first aid and a nearby harbour area.
