What it is like
Playa de la Galga is an isolated rocky beach of rounded stones and rock, at the foot of a cliff. It is 150 metres long but exceptionally narrow, at 2.8 metres wide, and has low visitor numbers and moderate waves. The surroundings are protected as a Special Protection Area for Birds and Natural Habitat of Community Interest, as well as forming part of a Biosphere Reserve. It can be reached by car from the LP-1, with parking and an interurban bus service.
