What it is like
Playa de la Arnía is an isolated beach on the Costa Quebrada, recognisable for its rocky setting and the abrasion platform visible from the shore. At the edge are highly fossilised marls or marly limestones, a geological feature specifically noted. Golden sand extends for 150 metres by 50 metres, with a mountainous frontage, wind and moderate swell, within a protected area. Access on foot is easy from the CA-231, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces and a food service.
