Playa de Guadalhorce lies beside the mouth of the river of the same name, on an isolated beach of dark sand with a dune and wetland frontage. Its 1,400 metres in length and 40 metres in width are surrounded by vegetation and form part of an area protected as a natural site. Usual swell is moderate and the structured listing records high occupancy, although the description refers to few visitors; the structured data is retained. The stated access is by car via the CN-340, with an interurban bus service. Only a cleaning service and an anchorage area are recorded.
