Playa de Gran de Palamós is an extensive urban beach of golden sand, stretching 884 metres in length and reaching 70 metres in width. The seafront promenade, high occupancy and moderate swell, sometimes windy, define a shore fully integrated into the town. It has access walkways and assisted bathing for people with reduced mobility, as well as an area with activities organised by the tourism service. Facilities include showers, toilets, drinking water, food establishments and boat hire.
