Playa de Espiñeiro occupies a very narrow stretch of white sand in a little-frequented marshland area. It is 80 metres long and barely 2 metres wide, with a semi-urban frontage, vegetation and calm waters, within a Ramsar-protected area. Its most distinctive feature is precisely its relationship with the marsh landscape rather than a broad sandy layout. Access is by car from the CC-550, and the interurban bus stop between Vilagarcía and Cambados is 1 kilometre away.
