What it is like
Playa de Es Caló occupies a small section of the Bay of Alcudia, recognisable by its low cliff and the small coves with caves that cut into the coast. The beach combines fine white sand with grey gravel in a strip 25 metres long and 6 metres wide. The surroundings are isolated, mountainous and protected as an ANEI, with vegetation and the possibility of anchoring. It can be reached easily on foot, by car or by boat; the nearest road is the Ma-3331 and there is an interurban bus stop.
