Playa del Sombrerico is an isolated beach away from urban centres, situated in a mountainous and cliffside setting. Its 335-metre length and 15-metre width consist of golden gravel, with vegetation, calm waters and low occupancy. It is reached on foot or by car along a track from Maicenas, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an urban bus service 5 kilometres away on the AL-5105. Facilities are limited, with litter bins, cleaning and food outlets.
