What it is like

Playa Venta del Bancal marks the beginning of Mojácar’s seafront promenade from its western access and is protected by an artificial groyne. The urban dark-sand beach is 787 metres long and 85 metres wide, with moderate swell and medium occupancy. Beyond the beach are the cliffs formed where Sierra de Cabrera meets the sea. Access is easy on foot or by car via the AL-5105, with a bus and foot showers.
