What it is like
Playa de Canaval occupies the inlet from which it takes its name and is striking for the relationship between its short length and width: it is 80 metres long and reaches 40 metres in width. It is an isolated beach of white and golden sand with rock, a semi-urban frontage and waters described as calm, although moderate waves are also recorded. The area is protected as a Natural Monument and retains vegetation. Access on foot is difficult from the AC-173, 2 km from the interurban service; there are showers, bins and cleaning.
