What it is like
Playa de Campamento is characterised by a 400-metre strip of white sand combined with extensive public facilities. The beach is 20 metres wide, has calm waters and lies in semi-urban surroundings with vegetation. Its high occupancy reflects an intensively used space prepared for longer stays beside the coast. Access is easy on foot or by car via the CC-550, with parking for fewer than 50 spaces and an interurban bus between Pontevedra and Vilanova. Toilets, showers, litter bins, cleaning and nautical equipment hire complete the practical facilities.
