What it is like
Cala les Palmeretes, also known as Cala Monte Lanuza, takes its name from the palm trees at the entrance. It is an urban cove 80 metres long and 25 metres wide, formed by dark sand and gravel, and is a continuation of Cala Lanuza; both take their name from Alto Lanuza, parallel to the coast. Occupancy is low and the waves are moderate. Access is easy on foot or by car from calle Llobarro, with fewer than 50 parking spaces, an interurban bus stop 1 kilometre away, litter bins and cleaning.
