What it is like
Playa de La Caleta, also known as Cala Higuera, is a small natural shore of fine pebbles and sand situated at the foot of cliffs in a protected natural environment. It is 160 metres long and 30 metres wide on average, with vegetation, calm waters and medium occupancy. Access is on foot or by car from the N-332, and the entry describes it as easy; it also has an urban bus service. Specific facilities include foot-washing facilities, catering, sun lounger and parasol hire, water-sports equipment hire and scuba-diving activities.
