Cala Junquera is a small cove, just 40 metres long and barely 5 metres wide, enclosed in a mountainous setting. Its shore combines white sand, rock and gravel, with vegetation within a Protected Natural Area. Access on foot is difficult and it can also be reached by sea; the nearest road is the RM-D20. The information links it to the GR 92 long-distance footpath. No beach facilities are described, so the visit should be planned with its isolated character in mind.
