What it is like
Cala del Barco is a very small cove, 40 metres long and 20 metres wide, set in a mountainous coast and linked to a semi-urban setting. Golden sand, vegetation and inclusion in a protected natural area coexist with high occupancy. GR 92 passes nearby and access can be on foot, by car or by boat, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles. Practical facilities include toilets, showers, restaurants, hire of sun loungers and parasols, as well as lifeguard service and first aid.
