What it is like
Playa de Boa, also known as Boa Grande, combines a length of 400 metres with a very narrow shore, barely 10 metres wide. Its white sand mixes with gravel along a semi-urban stretch with an urban frontage, promenade and vegetation, within a Site of Community Importance (SCI). Calm waters help explain its busy character and its relationship with the area’s most visited beaches, including Cabalo. It is easily reached on foot or by car from the C-550, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus between Noia and Ribeira.
