What it is like
Playa de Barraca Quemada (Playas de la Llana), forming part of Playas de la Llana, is situated where the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean meet. Its 700-metre length and 10-metre width run along a frontage of wetland, dunes and salt flats, with golden sand and vegetation within a Protected Natural Area. Access is easy on foot or by bicycle from the natural entrance beside the AP-7. Services are concentrated there, including toilets, foot showers, litter bins, cleaning and catering, as well as first aid and surveillance during the summer season.
