Playa Villananitos is an urban beach on the Mar Menor measuring 840 metres long, with dark sand, calm waters and a gentle slope. The seafront promenade and vegetation accompany a highly frequented shoreline intended both for bathing and water sports, including sailing and windsurfing. The surroundings mention the mud baths of la Charca. It is reached on foot or by car, with more than 100 parking spaces and urban transport. There are toilets, foot-washing points, food and drink establishments, nautical equipment hire, a nautical club and a sports area.
