What it is like
Playa de Baldaio, also called Saiñas, is an extensive beach of golden sand integrated into the natural setting of the Marismas de Baldaio. Its 4,000-metre length and 200-metre width form an isolated beach, accompanied by vegetation and a seafront promenade, within Red Natura 2000. It has high occupancy and conditions ranging from moderate to strong waves, on a semi-urban frontage. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the Arteixo-Baldaio road, with fewer than 50 parking spaces, an interurban bus and adapted access. Services include toilets, showers, cleaning services and litter bins.
