What it is like
Playa de A Lanzada is a large beach 2,400 metres long, the longest in the area according to the listing, with white sand and a width of 70 metres. Its isolated character is associated with a landscape of dunes, vegetation and a natural area protected as part of the Natura 2000 Network, although occupancy is high. Strong swell and wind are among its usual conditions. It can be reached on foot, by car or by boat from the CC-500, with parking for more than 100 spaces, a wooden promenade, food services, nautical hire and a surfing area.
