What it is like
Playa de A Covasa occupies the cove of Furna da Covasa, on which the so-called Phoenician pier or peirao stands, in the inlet of the same name. It is a minimal space, barely 10 metres long and 20 metres wide, with sand, rock and white gravel, a dune and mountain frontage, and an isolated character. Usual occupancy is low and the waves are moderate. It is reached by car from the road from Aguiño to Carreira, with parking for fewer than 50 spaces.
