What it is like
Playa de A Concha is an urban beach 894 metres long, separated from A Basteira by a breakwater. Its shore combines boulders, rock, gravel and golden sand, with a width of 30 metres, a seafront promenade and vegetation along an urban frontage with calm waters. Its position beside the breakwater and the presence of anchorage connect it with the port surroundings of Cariño. Access is easy on foot, by car or by boat from the DP-6121; there is parking for more than 100 spaces and an interurban bus service. Practical facilities include showers, foot-washing facilities, cleaning, catering and children’s play equipment.
