Río Támega identifies an inland bathing area in the municipality of Verín, in the province of Ourense. The site forms part of the surroundings of Río Támega, which crosses the Monterrei valley and forms part of a protected area covering its Galician course up to the Portuguese border. The area lies in a landscape of riparian woodland, valleys and low-lying meadowland with floating vegetation. The record corresponds to an official bathing area called Río Támega Verín.
