What it is like
Playa de Vallcarca is situated in the municipality of Sitges, in the province of Barcelona, and is a small isolated beach at the foot of a cement works. There is a small industrial jetty in the surroundings, and it measures 80 metres long by 16 metres wide. Its surface combines sand and rounded stones, with golden sand, while the coastal frontage is mountainous. It can be reached easily on foot or by bus, and has parking beside the C-31 road, with a stated capacity of between 50 and 100 spaces. The listing also identifies it as a dog-friendly beach.
