What it is like
Playa de Taballera is an isolated cove in El Port de la Selva, formed by rounded stones and gravel and opening onto a mountain landscape protected as a Natural Park. It measures 135 metres long and 15 metres wide, with low occupancy and moderate waves. Its decisive practical feature is land access: the 6.5-kilometre road is in very poor condition, only off-road vehicles can travel along it, and even then it does not reach the cove itself. The listing indicates difficult access on foot and interurban transport on the road to Puerto de la Selva.
