What it is like
Playa de San Lorenzo extends for 920 metres as a shingle beach on the edge of a coastal plateau cracked by ravines, which falls away shortly before the seaward end. The frontage is semi-urban, the width reaches 35 metres and the usual waves are strong. Official observation notes that it is an area very frequently used by surfers. Access is easy on foot or by car from the GC-2, with parking, an interurban bus service, litter bins and food service.
