What it is like
Playa de San Juan is an isolated beach in Teguise, formed by white sand and rock over 100 metres, with a width of 12 metres. Its dune coast, vegetation and inclusion in Protected Natural Areas, ZEC and ZEPA sites create an open setting with low visitor numbers, exposed to wind and moderate surf. It is nudist and has a surfing area. Access is by foot or car from the LZ-401 and LZ-402 roads, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and interurban bus service.
