What it is like
Playa de Sa Cánova stands out for its great length and for an unusual beach-dune system, with longitudinal dunes whose ridges run parallel to the coast. The sandy beach reaches 1,800 metres in length and 30 metres in width, combining golden sand and gravel. It is an isolated beach with a dune frontage, vegetation and protection as an ANEI. It can be reached on foot, by car or by boat; it has parking and an interurban bus service, with the Ma-3331 as the nearby road. Intercoms connected to the emergency telephone are available.
