What it is like
Playa de Punta Prieta, or Las Cocinitas, is an isolated beach of white sand and rounded stones extending 90 metres in length and 30 metres in width along a dune frontage with vegetation. The surroundings are included in protected natural areas and a ZEC, and the listing also notes nudism. Its waters usually have moderate waves and wind. It is easily reached on foot from the LZ-1; there is a bus connection, although route 9 is listed as having no stop, and Puerto Calero is the associated marina. Bins are the only specific facility recorded.
