What it is like
Playa de Puerto Remedios, also known as Charco de las Agujas, is a beach of golden sand and pebbles marking the beginning of the dune area. Its 700-metre length and 20-metre width run along an urban frontage, with calm waters and windy surroundings. It is easily reached on foot or by car from El Cotillo, and the listing records urban bus routes 6, 7 and 8. There are bins, cleaning and sun lounger and parasol hire.
