Playa de Puerto Escondido, also called Del Matorral, is an isolated beach of pebbles and rock beside a dune front. It is 200 metres long and 15 metres wide, with low occupancy and moderate waves. The listing warns that it is in an airport area and indicates difficult access on foot, with the FV-2 as the reference road and a bus connection on route M. Jable. The combination of dunes, isolation and pedestrian access defines its particular character.
