What it is like
Playa de Poza do Sal is a rustic beach of white sand and rock, situated opposite the rocky headland known as Isla Touza do Sal. Its shore is 300 metres long and only 5 metres wide, with vegetation, calm waters and low occupancy. Although the coast is classified as urban, the area retains a simple appearance without services. It is easily reached on foot, with access from the CC-550 and an interurban bus between Vilagarcía and A Illa de Arousa.
