Playa Xiorto forms part of a group of small beaches making up a cove in Poio. This urban stretch is 300 metres long and 10 metres wide, with white sand, a seafront promenade, vegetation, calm waters and an anchorage area. Visitor numbers are high and access is easy on foot or by car, with signs, parking and an interurban bus. Practical facilities include showers, litter bins, cleaning, food, a yacht club, a sports area, a play area and lifeguarding.
