What it is like
Playa Serantes retains the character of a rustic and isolated beach, with an especially wide strip of fine golden sand. It measures 200 metres long and 142 metres wide, opening onto a vegetated dune frontage and forming part of a ZEPA/SCI area. Although occupancy is recorded as high, the description calls it quiet and not excessively busy; it has moderate waves and wind. Access is easy on foot or by car from the N-634, with more than 100 parking spaces, toilets, showers and food service.
